You will advise on herbal remedies, nutrition, and lifestyle strategies, collaborating with pharmacy colleagues to provide integrated care. This full-time role emphasizes evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Recognised naturopathic qualification from an accredited institution or equivalent professional qualifications in natural medicine.
• Current professional registration or accreditation with a relevant naturopathic or complementary medicine body.
• Minimum of 2–3 years' professional experience as a practising naturopath or in a related natural therapy discipline.
• Strong knowledge of herbal medicine, nutritional biochemistry, and natural therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent communication and consultation skills, with the ability to explain complex health concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and naturopathic consultations, including case history taking and physical assessments.
• Develop individualised treatment and wellness plans based on naturopathic principles.
• Recommend and prescribe natural therapies, including herbal medicine, nutritional supplements, and dietary advice.
• Provide guidance on lifestyle, nutrition, and preventative health strategies.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans to optimise health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate client records in line with professional standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare practitioners within the pharmacy for integrated care.
• Stay current with natural medicine research and best practices.
• Support promotion of naturopathic services to the local community.
• Ensure practice complies with health legislation and professional codes.
