Webb Roofing Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced metal roofer to join a small, growing team in Brisbane. You will handle installing roof sheeting, flashings and related components, measure, cut and fit sheets, and assist with roof removals and re-roofing projects on residential and commercial work.

A hands-on attitude, reliability and working safely at heights are essential, with opportunities for progression to leading hand.

Formación

• Hands-on metal roofing experience required.

About the Role

We're looking for someone who has solid hands-on experience in metal roofing, can work confidently alongside a small crew and is capable of taking responsibility for their work.

Ideally, you'll be comfortable installing roof sheeting, flashings and cappings with minimal supervision.

However, we also encourage applications from roofers who are confident laying sheets but still developing their flashing and capping skills.

You don't necessarily need to be fully qualified. We're more interested in your practical experience, work ethic, attitude and willingness to improve.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installing metal roof sheeting on residential and commercial projects
• Measuring, cutting and fitting roof sheets
• Installing flashings, ridge capping and associated roof components
• Assisting with roof removals and re-roofing projects
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety
• Working efficiently as part of a small team
• Helping less experienced team members when required

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Previous hands-on metal roofing experience
• Confidence installing roof sheets
• Good understanding of roofing practices and safe work procedures
• Current White Card
• Ability to work safely at heights, with appropriate training and competency
• Reliable transport and a current driver's licence
• Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
• Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail

Highly Regarded

• Certificate III in Roof Plumbing
• Experience installing flashings, ridge capping and more detailed roofing components
• Ability to read plans and work from measurements
• Experience in residential re-roofing
• Experience with commercial metal roofing
• Ability to work independently and assist in coordinating other workers
