Are you an experienced Roof Plumber specialising in metal roofing and looking to build a long-term career in Australia?

Our clients are looking for candidates with hands-on experience installing, maintaining and repairing metal roofing systems across residential, commercial and industrial projects.

Important: This role is strictly for metal roofing specialists. Candidates with tile roofing experience only will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing, repairing and maintaining metal roofing systems, including corrugated iron, Colorbond and other sheet metal roofing products.


• Measuring, cutting, shaping and fitting metal roofing materials according to project specifications.


• Installing roof drainage systems, including gutters, downpipes, flashings and rainwater goods.


• Reading and interpreting construction plans, technical drawings and specifications.


• Inspecting completed roofing work and identifying defects, leaks or maintenance requirements.


• Ensuring roofing installations comply with applicable Australian building standards and safety requirements.


• Working safely at heights using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety systems.


• Coordinating with site supervisors, builders and other trades to complete projects efficiently.


• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, quality and site safety.


• Keeping work areas clean and following workplace health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience as a Roof Plumber or Metal Roof Installer.


• Essential: Practical experience installing metal roofing systems.


• Experience installing gutters, flashings, downpipes and rainwater drainage systems.


• Experience working on residential, commercial or industrial roofing projects.


• Ability to measure accurately and interpret technical drawings and construction plans.


• Knowledge of metal roofing materials, installation methods and finishing techniques.


• A strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.


• A relevant trade qualification or equivalent practical experience, highly regarded.


• Physical fitness and confidence working at heights.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a construction team.


• Willingness to relocate to regional Australia.

• This position specifically requires experience in metal roofing and roof plumbing.


• Candidates with experience installing corrugated metal roofing, Colorbond or similar sheet metal roofing systems are encouraged to apply.
