Job summary

Australia Zoo's Civil Works team is seeking an experienced Labourer for a Full Time position to support maintenance of municipal residences and buildings, and assist in the construction of new habitats, displays and structures.

You will work collaboratively, be committed to conservation, and bring a positive attitude. Duties include general labouring, site preparation, setting up and dismantling equipment, operating hand and power tools, cleaning sites and following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• General labouring duties within Civil Works team.
• Experience in earthworks is highly desired.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety procedures.

Duties Include:

Essential Criteria:

• Hold a valid White Card (General Construction Induction).
• Hold a current HR drivers licence.
• Previous experience within earthworks roles is highly desired.
