Job summary

Hardline Hydraulics Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join our team on a full-time basis. You will diagnose faults quickly and deliver quality repairs across trucks, mobile plant, waste equipment and industrial machinery.

The role is based in our Tullamarine workshop with onsite field service across Melbourne and Victoria, offering a competitive hourly rate and ongoing opportunities within a growing business.

Qualifications

• Qualified tradesperson with hydraulics expertise
• Experience diagnosing mobile hydraulic systems
• Able to work independently and manage field workload
• Full driver’s license (essential)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault-find and repair hydraulic systems and components
• Manufacture, test and replace hydraulic hose assemblies
• Remove, rebuild and install hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors and valves
• Carry out onsite field service and breakdown callouts
• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment
• Complete accurate job sheets, timesheets and service reports
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop and service vehicle
