McCullochs Hydraulic Engineers is seeking experienced Hydraulic Fitters, Mechanical Fitters and Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our Bendigo-based team. With over 80 years of industry experience, we provide specialist hydraulic engineering, maintenance and repair services across a broad range of industries.

This is an excellent opportunity for tradespeople who enjoy hands-on fault-finding, working on different types of equipment and getting out in the field to solve problems.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter, Hydraulic Fitter, Heavy Diesel Mechanic or similar.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with mobile plant, heavy equipment or industrial machinery.
• Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a team.
• Current driver’s licence (essential).
• Forklift licence (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Carry out field service, breakdown repairs and maintenance at customer sites.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and mechanical faults on mobile and fixed plant.
• Service and overhaul hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, valves and related equipment.
• Undertake hydraulic system testing, troubleshooting and commissioning.
• Work across a diverse range of machinery, equipment and industries.
