Job summary

Smith&Co Group is seeking experienced painters to join our fast-growing commercial team on the Gold Coast and Brisbane projects. You'll deliver high-end finishes, brush, roller and spray, and take pride in quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of proven painting experience for experienced painter positions.
• Commercial construction experience highly regarded.
• Trade qualification or significant proven industry experience.
• Construction White Card – mandatory.
• Spray painting experience highly regarded.
• Australian work rights; visa sponsorship may be available for suitable experienced candidates, depending on skills, experience and eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality finishes across commercial projects.
• Brushing, rolling and spray painting.
• Surface preparation, patching, sanding and repairs.
• Applying coatings accurately and consistently.
• Following project specifications, colours and finish requirements.
• Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe.
• Working efficiently and meeting project deadlines.
• Following company and site processes to maintain quality and consistency.
• Identifying issues early and communicating them with your supervisor.
• Working as part of a team while taking ownership of your own work.
