Job summary

Avante Linemarking in NSW is seeking a reliable Road Marking Labourer / Traffic Controller to join our growing, family-owned team. You’ll line-mark roads, set out specs, control traffic and operate marking equipment, with long‑term opportunities.

No previous line marking experience is required as full training is provided. Essential requirements include a current Australian driver’s licence, Construction White Card, Traffic Controller tickets and MR/HR licence (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• Must have a current Australian driver’s licence
• Construction Industry White Card
• Traffic Controller tickets
• MR or HR driver’s licence (or willing to obtain within 3 months)
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical, fit for work and drug and alcohol screen
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency or unrestricted right to work in Australia

Road Marking Labourer / Traffic Controller

No previous line marking experience? That's okay. We provide full training to the right candidates.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different. Your work may include:

• Line marking on roads, highways, freeways, car parks and industrial sites
• Setting out line marking to industry specifications
• Traffic control and work zone setup
• Operating and maintaining specialised line marking equipment
• Driving company vehicles (subject to licence class)
• General labouring duties
• Cleaning and maintaining vehicles and equipment
• Working as part of a professional and safety-focused crew

Essential Requirements (Applications without these will not be considered)

To be eligible for this position you must have:

• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Construction Industry White Card
• Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Tickets
• Current MR or HR Driver's Licence (or willing to obtain within 3 months)
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Fit for Work Assessment and Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or unrestricted Right to Work in Australia

Work Conditions

This role is best suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and can be flexible.

You must be willing to:

• Work predominantly night shifts (Sunday to Thursday)
• Work regular overtime when required
• Occasionally work day shifts
• Travel and stay away from home for regional projects when required
