Avante Linemarking in NSW is seeking a Road Marking Labourer / Traffic Controller. Join a leading family-owned road marking contractor delivering across NSW and Queensland.

No prior experience required; full training provided. Responsibilities include line marking on roads and car parks, traffic control, operating equipment, and general labouring, with night shifts and overtime as needed.

Must hold relevant licences and tickets; join a safety-focused crew with long-term career opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Construction Industry White Card.
• Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Tickets.
• MR or HR Driver's Licence (or willing to obtain within 3 months).
• Pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Fit for Work and Drug & Alcohol Screen.
• Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or unrestricted Right to Work.

Responsibilities

• Line marking on roads, highways, freeways, car parks and industrial sites.
• Setting out line marking to industry specifications.
• Traffic control and work zone setup.
• Operating and maintaining specialised line marking equipment.
• Driving company vehicles (subject to licence class).

Road Marking Labourer / Traffic Controller

No previous line marking experience? That's okay. We provide full training to the right candidates.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different. Your work may include:

• Line marking on roads, highways, freeways, car parks and industrial sites
• Setting out line marking to industry specifications
• Traffic control and work zone setup
• Operating and maintaining specialised line marking equipment
• Driving company vehicles (subject to licence class)
• General labouring duties
• Cleaning and maintaining vehicles and equipment
• Working as part of a professional and safety-focused crew

Essential Requirements (Applications without these will not be considered)

To be eligible for this position you must have:

• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Construction Industry White Card
• Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Tickets

• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Fit for Work Assessment and Drug & Alcohol Screen

Work Conditions

This role is best suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and can be flexible.

You must be willing to:

• Work predominantly night shifts (Sunday to Thursday)
• Work regular overtime when required
• Occasionally work day shifts
• Travel and stay away from home for regional projects when required
