Job summary

WPP Media Limited is seeking aSenior SEO Leader to drive client delivery of Experience (SEO) services across Australia and New Zealand. The role will lead and mentor a high-performing team of mid-senior SEO experts, fostering collaboration and high trust in a hybrid working environment.

You will partner with senior clients and the Group Business Director to drive profitability, growth, and innovative SEO solutions across GEO and experience platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SEO delivery for enterprise or agency clients.
• Proven ability to grow and mentor mid-senior level SEO teams.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with content, tech, and data teams.
• Comfort with AI-assisted optimization and experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the client delivery of all Experience (SEO) services across Australia and New Zealand.
• Mentor and grow a high-performing team of SEO experts in multiple cities.
• Partner with the Group Business Director to track profitability and identify growth opportunities.
• Develop and evolve SEO, GEO and experience solutions, frameworks, and processes.
• Build trusted relationships with senior clients and internal stakeholders.

The Role

Location: Melbourne / Sydney

Ideal Skills And Experience

• A SEO Leader:You are an experienced professional in the SEO space with expertise spanning all facets of organic discovery including; Technical, Local, Content and Measurement. You are comfortable leading and developing high performing teams and client delivery within a fast-paced agency environment.
• Commercially Astute:You possess strong commercial acumen, with a proven track record of managing agency revenue, improving profitability, and driving business growth.
• An Inspirational Mentor:You have a genuine passion for people leadership and demonstrable experience coaching and developing senior talent to reach their full potential.
• Strategic & Operationally Strong:You are a strategic thinker who can not only develop innovative product solutions but also implement the strong processes required to scale them. You are inherently curious, with an innovation mindset, and are comfortable ideating with technologies such as AI to improve operations, delivery, and efficiency.
• A Master of Relationships:You excel at building deep, trusted partnerships with senior-level clients and internal stakeholders, driving satisfaction and advocacy.
