Job summary

Pinnacle Rehab is an award-winning workplace rehab provider in Australia. We seek a New Graduate or experienced Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist to develop clinical reasoning and support effective return-to-work plans.

You’ll benefit from a structured induction, shadowing, remote learning and ongoing support within a collaborative team, with flexible calendar options including work-from-home.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
• General Registration with AHPRA or ESSA is required.
• Car and valid Driver’s license is necessary.
• Police check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients with a physical injury.
• Complete initial assessments to understand injury, recovery timeframes and return-to-work goals.
• Visit workplaces to assess environment and duties and identify suitable duties while recovering.
• Provide support through recommendations for community assistance or insurer.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to support the recovery and safe return to work.
• Document case notes for reporting and compliance, applying clinical judgment.

The Opportunity

Driven by ongoing growth across our Same Employer Division, we are offering a unique opportunity to be part of our expanding success. As a New Graduate or experienced Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist you will have a chance to further develop your clinical reasoning skills and play a key role in supporting effective return to work plans.

You will be involved within a structured and hands-on induction, shadowing opportunities and classroom sessions in your first week, followed by ongoing remote learning modules to provide clear understanding of the workers' compensation framework.

Ongoing individual support and team meetings with Team Leader, peer mentor sessions to help you develop the skills to drive and achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients.

Looking after a client portfolio, your day will include

• Manage a portfolio of clients with a physical injury
• Complete initial assessments to better understand the injury, recovery timeframes and return to work goals
• Visiting workplace to assess environment and duties within the role, identify with employer of any suitable duties while recovering
• Providing support through recommendations for community assistance or additional support through the insurer
• Working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide complex stakeholder management to support the recovery of an injured worker
• Document case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements, applying your clinical judgement to support and guide your clients to a safe return to work goal

About You

• General Registration with AHPRA or ESSA
