Job summary

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) invites an Exercise Physiologist Level 1/2 to join headspace Eastern Suburbs Menta Health Service in Bondi Junction. The role focuses on 1:1 care and a group program for young people, as part of the After Hours Pilot. Shifts include early and late starts in a supportive, dynamic team.

Temporary part-time position, 24 hours/week, with salary in the $40.05–$46.80 per hour range plus superannuation. Applications close 27 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Qualifications per NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and eligibility for membership with Exercise Sports Science Australia.
• Bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science or equivalent as required.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 exercise physiology services to youth with mental health concerns.
• Develop and support a health and exercise group program as part of the headspace After Hours Pilot.
• Collaborate within the SESLHD Mental Health Service and headspace Bondi Junction team.
