Job summary

Walgett Community College is seeking three Executive Principals to lead the Primary, Middle and Senior Schools under the Connected Communities Strategy, starting Day 1, Term 1 2027. This three-year appointment may extend, focusing on Aboriginal education, community engagement and high expectations for student learning.

The role requires strong educational leadership, strategic planning and collaborative relationships with families, SRG, Elders and partner agencies to deliver improved outcomes.

Qualifications

• High level educational leadership to run a complex public school.
• Ability to lead inclusive teaching and learning programs.
• Strong communication with school and community.

Responsibilities

• Lead Walgett Community College and its three school components under the Connected Communities Strategy.
• Ensure student achievement, attendance, engagement, wellbeing and pathways.
• Collaborate with local community groups, families, SRG, Elders and partner agencies to deliver outcomes.
