Executive Manager - Finance & Administration

Ideal Step-up for Astute Senior Accountant or CA within Professional Practice with Medical Services Experience

Our client is a doctor owned operator of a world-class, purpose-built hospital facility in Sydney’s northern suburbs.

The Group’s motto – Care Without Compromise – informs every aspect of their operation. Their doctors, nurses and ancillary medical professionals offer world’s best practice across a range of surgical and therapeutic services.

They now wish to appoint a General Manager – Finance & Administration to the Group’s Executive Management Team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the board, you will assume responsibility for financial strategy and reporting, budget management, compliance and risk management, as well as assuming responsibility for the ongoing development of Group’s operating model.

You will also have responsibility for the Group's company secretarial function. Further, you will manage a range of external providers, including external legal counsel, insurance brokers, etc and play a key role in managing the Group’s relationships with private medical insurers and the negotiation of contracts.

A qualified CA/CPA, you may currently be working in a senior finance role with another health care provider or within a specialist medical/hospital team of a professional services firm. It would be an advantage if you can demonstrate solid experience in the evaluation and application of technology with accounting and finance as well as broader enterprise-wide systems.
