Job summary

Caretakers Cottage is seeking an exceptional leader to guide the organisation through its next phase of impact and sustainability. You will partner with the board on governance, risk and organisational sustainability while strengthening outcomes and safeguarding across services for children and young people.

You will drive strategic and operational leadership, develop leadership capability, and foster a culture where advancement is supported and outcomes are continually improved.

Qualifications

• Experience with boards and governance frameworks.
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with government, funders and partners.
• Commitment to safeguarding, trauma-informed and culturally safe practice.
• Leadership in a government-funded not-for-profit environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational and cultural leadership for the organisation.
• Ensure performance, financial sustainability and safeguarding.
• Strengthen outcomes measurement and impact reporting.
• Develop leadership capability and foster a positive organisational culture.
• Champion quality practice and drive service development and growth.
• Build relationships with government, funders and sector stakeholders to diversify funding.
