Job summary

WaterNSW invites an experienced Head of Business Services to join our team in Sydney, NSW. This full-time, permanent leadership role focuses on procurement, property, facilities and corporate services to support our strategic priorities and sustainable operations.

You will lead enterprise-wide strategies, build an inclusive culture, and drive continuous improvement across business services while balancing safety and stakeholder outcomes in a dynamic state-wide organisation.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in procurement, supply chain, business, finance, logistics or related field.
• Extensive leadership experience in business services, procurement, property, facilities or related corporate functions.
• Ability to develop and implement enterprise-wide strategies delivering efficiency and value.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and executive partnership experience.
• Experience managing large-scale procurement, supplier and asset programs with governance and risk controls.
• Proven capability to lead diverse teams and deliver service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across Business Services, supporting priorities and building a high-performing, inclusive culture.
• Lead enterprise-wide procurement and supplier management strategies delivering value and risk management.
• Oversee WaterNSW's property portfolio to support operational needs and long-term goals.
• Ensure effective delivery of corporate business services including logistics, security, purchasing support and workplace resources.
• Lead planning and delivery of property, fleet and business service programs focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
