Job summary

Macquarie Group seeks an experienced professional to manage daily funding and liquidity operations within Group Treasury Operations. You will coordinate with Treasury Markets and FX Forwards to forecast liquidity, monitor nostro balances, and execute intraday funding adjustments.

You will own end-to-end booking and operational handling of structured flows, collaborating with Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders to drive process improvements using data and AI-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in treasury or financial markets.
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills and quick learner of new systems.
• Understanding of operational controls and risk management frameworks.
• Experience using data analytics and AI tools to create dashboards and support business cases.

Responsibilities

Join the Group Treasury Operations team within the wider global Corporate Operations Group as part of a high-performing and collaborative team responsible for managing the global Funding, Nostro & Liquidity operations for Macquarie Group.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will manage the daily funding and liquidity requirements of Macquarie Group, working closely with Group Treasury Markets and FX Forwards trading teams to provide liquidity forecasts, monitor real-time nostro balances and facilitate intraday funding adjustments. You will partner with business units across Macquarie to manage internal term funding flows with Group Treasury and support Finance and Balance Sheet Management (BSM) processes and queries.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end booking and operational management of structured flows products, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and in line with policy and operational requirements. You will also collaborate with Finance, Technology, Operations and business stakeholders to identify and implement process improvement opportunities, leveraging data, automation and artificial intelligence-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, controls and scalability across the function.
