Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a General Manager for Cowal Operations in NSW to lead safety, performance and growth. Reporting to the COO, you will set strategic direction, drive operational excellence and manage a multidisciplinary team across mining, processing, planning and sustainability.

You will build long-term asset value, strengthen stakeholder relationships and foster a culture of accountability and innovation in a busy mining environment. Relocation support is offered.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mine Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy or related discipline.
• Extensive senior leadership in mining across multiple assets or operations.
• Strong commercial, financial planning and operational leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safety, sustainable and profitable operation performance across Cowal.
• Lead life-of-mine planning and strategic initiatives for asset value and growth.
• Strengthen relationships with government, regulators and communities.
• Drive accountability, innovation and continuous improvement culture.
• Provide strategic advice to COO and Executive Leadership Team.
