Job summary

NAB in Melbourne is seeking a Head of Group Planning to lead the Group's financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, shaping the financial future and maximising shareholder value. You will work closely with the CFO and senior Finance leaders to translate strategy into actionable plans.

This role requires deep corporate finance experience, advanced modelling, capital allocation, and a track record of guiding boards.

Qualifications

Senior corporate finance or FP&A experience.
Ability to translate strategy into financial plans.
Proven board-level influence and decision support.
CA/CPA/CFA/MBA qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the Group's financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
Drive alignment between strategic objectives, financial outcomes and capital priorities.
Provide independent commercial insight to enhance business performance.
Provide recommendations on capital deployment to maximise shareholder value.
Develop sophisticated financial models, valuation analyses and scenario assessments.
Support organisation through rigorous sensitivity and stress-testing analysis.
Partner with Investor Relations and senior finance stakeholders on market communications.
Enhance planning and forecasting capabilities with data-driven insights and AI.
