Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking a senior finance leader to own the commercial finance function within a large ASX-listed organisation. You will partner with senior executives to drive performance, strategic planning and commercial decision making.

You will lead a multi-layered finance team, set direction, build capability and empower leaders while operating at an executive level across a complex matrix structure.

Qualifications

• Qualified as CA or CPA with significant senior commercial finance leadership experience.
• Experience leading large, multi-layered finance teams in complex corporate settings.
• Proven ability to partner with executives on strategy, performance and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial finance function across a large and complex operating division.
• Provide leadership and direction across a sizeable, multi-layered finance team.
• Partner with executive and operational leaders on strategy, performance and commercial decision making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and longer-term strategic planning processes.
• Provide clear insights into business performance, key drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Present financial performance and commercial recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Drive a disciplined operating rhythm across forecasting, reporting and performance management.
• Lead, develop and empower senior finance leaders and their teams.
• Influence across a complex matrix organisational structure.
• Support major business improvement, systems and transformation initiatives.
• Continue to improve the quality of commercial insights and decision support.
