A leading research institution is seeking an Executive Director, Philanthropy to spearhead a comprehensive philanthropic campaign. The successful candidate will have significant experience in principal gift fundraising, preferably within health or education. Overview

NeuRA aims to tackle the brain health challenges which shape our lives through leadership, excellence and innovation in neuroscience research. From advances in dementia and mental health to discoveries in chronic pain and falls prevention, Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA) has been at the forefront of neuroscience for over 30 years. Under its new research strategy NeuRA Forward 2025 – 2030, NeuRA has outlined three strategic missions, focussing on lifelong brain health, innovative therapeutics, and precision diagnostics, aligning their efforts to meet critical healthcare needs while advancing scientific frontiers.

Role

NeuRA now seeks a new Executive Director, Philanthropy who will lead on the planning, development and implementation of a comprehensive philanthropic campaign for NeuRA in line with the new research strategy, ensuring each mission is underpinned by principal gift and major philanthropy to complement grant and industry revenue (the campaign).

Qualifications/Experience

This is a fantastic opportunity for a philanthropic leader with significant principal gift experience who has led the implementation of a comprehensive fundraising campaign, preferably in the health or education sectors.
