Job summary

Charlton Christian College in Fassafield, NSW, seeks a Director of People and Culture to lead the College’s people strategy, workforce capability and employee relations as part of the Executive Team. You will shape leadership practice, support workforce planning, recruitment and development, and provide trusted guidance on complex people matters.

The role requires a personal Christian faith, relevant qualifications, and a NSW Working with Children Check, with experience guiding a Christian

Qualifications

• Personal Christian faith and support for the College's Statement of Faith.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and a NSW Working with Children Check.
• Significant experience leading People and Culture or HR functions.
• Strategic workforce advisory experience to senior leaders.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the College's People and Culture strategy and contribute as an Executive Team member.
• Partner with the Principal and leaders to strengthen workforce capability and leadership practice.
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, organisational design and talent development initiatives.
• Provide trusted advice and leadership on employee relations and workplace investigations.
• Drive staff wellbeing, engagement and culture initiatives aligned with the Christian mission.
• Lead delivery of People and Culture services through a small professional team.
