Executive Director – Enterprise Transformation

Lutheran Services is a respected, values-driven organisation delivering aged care, retirement living and community services across Queensland. With a proud history of supporting individuals and communities, the organisation is entering an exciting period of growth and transformation, focused on strengthening service delivery, innovation and long-term sustainability.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Executive Director – Enterprise Transformation will lead a diverse portfolio of strategic initiatives spanning digital and technology, organisational change, major capital development, operational improvement and mergers and acquisitions. This is a pivotal role in translating strategy into action, strengthening enterprise-wide governance and ensuring complex transformation programs deliver meaningful and sustainable outcomes.

Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will lead the enterprise project management and change functions, oversee significant capital and infrastructure investments, and support strategic growth opportunities. The portfolio includes major property developments, business improvement initiatives and potential acquisitions, requiring sound commercial judgement, disciplined execution and a strong understanding of organisational priorities. Success will require the ability to balance commercial discipline and delivery excellence with genuine engagement, ensuring change is embraced and embedded across the organisation.

Beyond the delivery of individual programs, you will play an important role in building organisational capability and creating a consistent, enterprise-wide approach to transformation. Central to your success will be the ability to bring people with you, build trust across diverse stakeholder groups and foster a culture of shared ownership and accountability. You will understand that sustainable transformation is achieved through people, not simply processes, and that the way change is led is just as important as the outcomes delivered.

You will be an accomplished executive with demonstrated experience leading complex transformation portfolios in large, service-oriented organisations. Commercially astute and strategically minded, you will bring strong governance, program delivery and change leadership capability, alongside experience in capital development and mergers and acquisitions. Equally important will be your leadership philosophy and alignment with Lutheran Services' values. You will be a genuine servant leader who leads with humility, integrity and empathy, placing people and purpose at the centre of your decisions. Approachable, collaborative and grounded, you will be comfortable challenging thinking while listening openly, empowering others and building strong, trusting relationships.
