Queensland Government is seeking a senior psychiatrist to lead mental health and AOD services across North West Queensland. You will drive clinical excellence, shape innovative models of care, and guide teams to deliver safe, culturally responsive services in rural and remote communities.

The role offers a broad remuneration package, professional development support, and substantial incentives for regional attraction and housing.

Competenze

• Specialist psychiatry registration with Medical Board of Australia.
• FRANZCP fellowship or equivalent.
• Ability to prescribe Opioid Substitution Therapy (OSTP).
• Mandatory: relevant tertiary degree and appropriate registration/licences.
• C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
