Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a senior psychiatrist to lead mental health and AOD services across North West Queensland. You will drive clinical excellence, shape innovative models of care, and guide teams to deliver safe, culturally responsive services in rural and remote communities.

Qualifications

• Specialist psychiatry registration with Medical Board of Australia.

• C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.

About the roleLead transformative mental health and alcohol and other drug services across North West Queensland, combining clinical excellence with strategic leadership to shape innovative, community-focused models of care.In this influential role, you'll inspire teams, shape the future of care, and help deliver safe, culturally responsive services that create meaningful impact for people across rural and remote communities.Working with usCompetitive remuneration package based on full-time equivalent value up to $648,321 comprising:Base salary ranges between $225,305 and $284,318 p.a.
