KordaMentha Pty is seeking an Executive Analyst for its Public Sector Advisory team in Brisbane. You will analyze data and develop evidence-based insights, delivering high-quality reports, business cases and operating models for government clients.

You will support stakeholder interviews, workshops and consultations, while taking ownership of defined tasks and contributing to proposals and knowledge improvements. A strong analytical mindset and client-focused delivery are essential.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of consulting experience with problem-solving and client delivery.
• Strong analytical ability with qualitative and quantitative data.
• Clear written and verbal communication; concise reports and presentations.

In this role you will:

• Analyse qualitative and quantitative information to identify patterns, test assumptions and develop evidence-based insights.
• Deliver high-quality reports, presentations, business cases, evaluations, operating models and other client-ready materials.
• Support stakeholder interviews, workshops and consultation activities, communicating confidently with government clients, senior stakeholders and project teams.
• Take responsibility for defined project tasks and smaller work components, managing priorities and escalating risks or issues early.
• Contribute practical ideas to proposals, research, knowledge development and improvements to how we work.
• Use data, technology and AI tools appropriately to improve the quality, efficiency and clarity of our work.
• Support Analysts and new team members through knowledge sharing, practical guidance and constructive feedback.

What we are looking for

You are an analytical and engaging consultant who enjoys turning complex information into clear, practical advice. Naturally curious and motivated by meaningful work, you bring sound judgement, strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for improving public services and government outcomes.

You will bring:

• Two to four years of consulting experience, with demonstrated exposure to structured problem-solving, analysis and client delivery.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in economics, business, commerce, finance, international relations, politics, public policy or another relevant discipline.
• Strong analytical capability and the confidence to work with qualitative and quantitative information.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop concise, well-structured reports and presentations.
• Experience contributing to client engagements, managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality work to deadlines.
• A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to take ownership of defined tasks.
• A genuine passion for the public sector and an interest in helping government organisations improve outcomes for communities.
• A collaborative mindset, curiosity and a commitment to continued learning.

Preferred, but not essential:

• Previous experience working with government or public sector clients.
• Exposure to business cases, program evaluation, organisational reviews, operating models or strategic planning.
