The Role

As our Deli Manager, you will be the face and force behind this premium food destination. You’ll oversee daily operations, inspire and lead a passionate team, and ensure every customer leaves with not just incredible products, but an authentic Italian experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the deli team with energy, knowledge, and professionalism
• Maintain the highest standards of slicing, presentation, and product handling
• Provide exceptional customer service rooted in traditional Italian hospitality
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships
• Manage and oversee all food safety standards producers are put in place & maintained daily & upheld to the highest standards
• Develop seasonal specials, antipasto selections, and event offerings
• Encourage sampling, create theatre to entertain customers & get them involved (sing, play music)
• Work closely with the smallgoods and cheese artisans to showcase premium products

You’ll Bring

• Experience in deli management or high-end food retail (Italian focus highly regarded)
• Deep knowledge of Italian small goods, cheeses, and specialty products
• A genuine love for food and customer service
• Strong leadership and communication skills in both English & Italian are a plus
• An eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
