Job summary

Atom Resources is seeking an Experienced Plant Operator for a major civil project in Marsden Park, NSW. You will operate excavators up to 30 tonnes and Positracks, perform daily pre-start checks, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

The role offers 50 hours per week with above award pay rates of $45-$50 per hour, plus a $22 travel allowance per day and overtime penalties. Ongoing work is provided for skilled operators with a potential path to full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Civil or landscaping experience
• Current SOA or VOC for either machine
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Operating excavators up to 30 tonne
• Operating Posi tracks
• Daily pre start checks and safety procedures
• Digging for retaining walls, footpaths, roads, footings, pads and trenches
• Bulk work loading trucks and managing stockpiles
• Final trim and site clean up
