Job summary

The ideal candidate must have proven experience in operating excavators, relevant plant operating tickets, and a great work ethic. This role requires collaboration within a site crew and maintaining safety practices. Opportunities are available in locations like Ipswich, Logan, and the Gold Coast.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operating excavators for civil and infrastructure projects.
• GPS experience highly regarded, but not essential.
• Drainage and civil site experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators for civil and infrastructure projects.
• Undertake trenching and benching for stormwater and drainage.
• Perform earthworks including bulk and detailed excavation.

Job description

The Role:

• Operating excavators for civil and infrastructure projects
• Trenching and benching for stormwater and drainage systems
• Earthworks including bulk and detailed excavation
• Final trim work to precise levels (GPS or manual)
• Working as part of a collaborative site crew
• Maintaining safe and efficient work practices

Work Available Across:

• Ipswich
• Logan
• Gold Coast
• Moreton Bay/Redlands area

About You:

• Proven experience operating excavators (5tn-30tn)
• GPS experience highly regarded, but not essential
• Ability to read plans and levels
• Relevant plant operating tickets & white card
• Reliable transport and a great work ethic
• Drainage and civil site experience preferred
