Job summary

Tumeke Civil Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled GPS Operator to join our team in Queensland. We operate 10T to 40T Excavators and require a qualified operator with a valid Queensland licence and proven civil construction experience.

The ideal candidate will read and interpret site plans, work safely on site, communicate effectively with site teams, and be capable of outdoor work in varied weather conditions. Preference given to those with road construction or landscaping exposure.

Qualifications

• Valid Queensland Excavator Operator licence or equivalent qualification.
• 2-3 years' proven experience operating excavators on civil construction projects.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and commitment to safe work.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with site teams.
• Ability to read and interpret site plans and project specifications.
• Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Reliability, punctuality and professional attitude.
• Experience with site inductions and ability to obtain site-specific certifications.
• Preference for civil earthworks, landscaping or road construction experience.
