Job summary

Airservices Australia is seeking an EVT Maintenance Team Leader to lead specialist Emergency Vehicle Technician teams responsible for maintaining the emergency response fleet and equipment across multiple locations in Australia.

You will provide technical and operational leadership, drive maintenance performance, and oversee workforce capability while collaborating with operational, engineering and management stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading maintenance teams within a heavy vehicle, mobile plant, fleet or asset management environment.
• Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience managing maintenance programs, operational priorities and resource allocation to achieve performance outcomes.
• Knowledge of maintenance management systems and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across operational and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead specialist Emergency Vehicle Technician teams responsible for maintaining Airservices' emergency response fleet and equipment across multiple locations.
• Provide technical and operational leadership while driving maintenance performance, workforce capability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with operational, engineering and management stakeholders to ensure reliability and availability of the specialised fleet.
• Apply leadership and technical expertise across asset-intensive environments to support national aviation infrastructure.
