Airservices Australia seeks an Electrical Technical Officer for Melbourne Airport, maintaining critical air traffic control and rescue firefighting infrastructure. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, power, UPS, generators and DC networks to ensure safety and continuity.

The role involves travel across Australia in a safety‑driven environment, collaborating with engineers and operations staff to ensure reliable service and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence (mandatory).
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
• Current CPR/LVR certification.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Construction Industry White Card.
• Restricted Electrical Licence and ACMA Data Cabling Licence are desirable.

Responsabilités

• Undertake preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Maintain awareness of impact of work on Airservices systems.
• Support operational safety and integrity of critical aviation systems.
• Maintain effective relationships with Airservices staff for coordinated service delivery.
• Enter data accurately into maintenance management systems.
• Support coaching and development of team members.
• Participate in enterprise governance activities including safety and risk compliance.
• Promote workplace safety and contribute to a safe environment.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in service delivery.
