The Stroke Foundation is a national not-for-profit organisation that works with stroke survivors, carers, health professionals, government and the public to reduce the impact of stroke on the Australian community.Our mission is to Prevent Stroke, Save Lives, Enhance Recovery.
This is a part time role (0.6 FTE) working 3 days per week, the role is a fixed term contract starting in February 2026 for a period of 12 months.
Overall purpose of the team
The Events Coordinator is part of the Brand, Communications & Advocacy (BCA) Division and reports directly to the Head of Marketing Services. The BCA Division raises awareness about stroke prevention, treatment and recovery through strategic storytelling, media engagement, advocacy, digital communications and creative content production across multiple channels.
To date, events have been managed across multiple divisions at Stroke Foundation. This new role will enable us to centralise events coordination within the BCA team.
Overall purpose of position
The Events Coordinator supports the delivery of high-quality, high-impact events that bring Stroke Foundation's mission to life. The role coordinates the planning and logistics for major national campaigns and events, and a range of stakeholder, partnership and government activations throughout the year. Working collaboratively across teams, the Events Coordinator ensures each event is well planned, professionally delivered, and aligned with our brand and strategic priorities. The role provides hands-on support from concept to execution, helping create memorable experiences that engage the community, recognise achievements and advance Stroke Foundation's purpose.
