Job summary

Brown Brothers seeks an experienced Event Manager to lead weddings, private functions, corporate events and signature brand experiences at our Milawa winery destination. In this full-time role, you will own the events program and drive guest experiences and commercial success on a Tue–Sat roster.

You will bring creativity, leadership and strategic thinking to showcase the Brown Brothers brand and create memorable experiences for our guests in North East Victoria.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in event management, hospitality, tourism or a similar customer-focused industry.
  • Demonstrated success managing events from concept and planning through to execution and review.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • A proactive and collaborative leadership style with experience coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and delivering business outcomes.
  • A passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings when required.

Introduction:

Brown Brothers is seeking an experienced and passionate Event Manager to lead the delivery of weddings, private functions, corporate events and signature brand experiences at our iconic Milawa winery destination.


In this exciting full-time, permanent role working on a Tuesday to Saturday roster, you\'ll take ownership of our events program, driving both exceptional guest experiences and commercial success across weddings, private functions, corporate events and seasonal activations. You\'ll have the opportunity to bring creativity, leadership and strategic thinking to a role that plays a key part in showcasing the Brown Brothers brand and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
