A community service organization in Toowoomba is seeking volunteers to provide first aid services at various community events. Responsibilities include attending festivals, expos, sporting events, and offering medical support to ensure the safety of participants. Applicants must hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate, undergo a National Police Check, and be over 18 years old. This role is crucial for making community events safe and successful.
Our Event Health Services (EHS) team attend events,providing support and first aid services to our local and regional communities. Our team consists of doctors, registered paramedics, registered nurses, and advanced responders who are able to help with any incidents that may occur.
Our EHS program relies on volunteers from the health and medical sectors who are passionate about providing safe spaces at community events. Events can include:
