Job summary

Programmed is seeking a forklift operator for a casual ongoing role in Melbourne, with an 38-hour ordinary week and afternoon/night shifts (5:00 PM - 4:00 AM). You will predominantly move bricks using a forklift, with some manual handling and general duties within a manufacturing setting.

Applicants must hold a current LF forklift licence and have prior forklift experience in industrial environments. Strong safety awareness and reliable, punctual attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have current LF forklift licence.
• Previous forklift operating experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Willing to work afternoon/night shift and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift for ~85% of the shift to move bricks.
• Work across kiln and manufacturing facility areas.
• Assist with general manual duties ~15% of the shift.
• Set up and operate machinery per SOP when required.
• Inspect products and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
• Complete production records and other documentation.
