Job summary

Wynnum Manly Leagues Club is seeking reliable Casual Kitchen Attendants to join our busy hospitality team in Manly West, QLD. Availability to work weekday evenings is essential as part of our weekday service schedule.

You'll work alongside our chefs to keep the kitchen running smoothly, maintain high standards of cleanliness and support the preparation and delivery of quality meals to members and guests. On-the-job training and development are provided along with employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Availability to work weekday evening shifts is essential.
• Previous kitchen hand or hospitality experience is desirable, but not essential.
• We welcome applications from people new to hospitality and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean dishes, cutlery, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe and organised kitchen and storage areas.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation as directed.
• Support stock rotation, storage and waste management.
• Follow food hygiene, workplace safety and cleaning procedures.
• Assist with rubbish disposal and recycling.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff during busy service periods.
