Job summary

CMBM Facility Services is seeking a reliable Working Supervisor to manage the Hyne Timber Tuan Mill site in Queensland. The role blends hands-on cleaning with team leadership, client liaison, and day-to-day site coordination.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, conducting site inspections, rostering, and maintaining supply stocks, while ensuring WHS compliance and strong client communication. Evening hours apply, with a full-time arrangement and on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning experience – essential.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and client engagement skills.
• The ability to work hands-on while supervising and supporting a team.
• Experience with rostering, team coordination and site operations.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A reliable and professional approach to work.
• A positive attitude and willingness to support and assist others.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills, including email, Excel, reporting systems and mobile applications.
• A current Australian manual driver’s licence – essential, as the successful applicant will be required to drive a site vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on commercial cleaning duties as part of daily site operations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and cleaning audits to maintain quality standards.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships through regular communication and engagement.
• Supervise, train and support cleaning staff to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Manage site rostering and assist with staff scheduling and coverage.
• Monitor stock and consumables, including ordering and maintaining site supplies.
• Assist with administrative duties, including timesheets, payroll sign-off and reporting.
• Respond promptly to client requests, feedback and operational issues.
• Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are followed.
