Job summary

City Facilities Management – Highfields QLD is seeking reliable cleaners to support our partner Goodstart Early Learning. The role offers Monday to Friday evening shifts from 7pm to 9pm with a competitive hourly rate plus part-time loading.

You will clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces; disinfect high-touch surfaces; dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean; and follow OH&S policies. A smartphone for work communication and valid working rights in Australia are required; a driver’s licence

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous cleaning experience (preferred, not essential).
• A smartphone for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver’s licence and own car (preferred)
• Willing to obtain a Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces like handles and switches.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and kneeling.
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures.
