Job summary

Karitane is seeking a Research Officer to support evaluations and research projects at the Fairfield Integrated Child and Family Hub. The role reports to the Director of Research, with duties spanning protocol administration, data collection and analysis, and reporting.

Fixed term, 16 hours per week, 1 year with possible extension. Ideal candidate holds a university degree in psychology or related field, has strong data skills (Excel, SPSS), and can work both independently and in a team, meeting

Qualifications

• University degree in Psychology, Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health, or related discipline.
• Experience with data collection methods including quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Administer study protocols including participant recruitment, data collection and data management.
• Perform quantitative/qualitative data analyses as required by the research project.
• Manage databases, including data cleaning and ensuring research integrity.
• Monitor research protocols and resolve design, implementation and analysis issues.
• Assist with research reports, peer‑reviewed publications and progress reports.
• Liaise with stakeholders and collaborators and participate in meetings.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day research activities within project timelines.
