Job summary

Origin Energy in Sydney is seeking an EV Sales Consultant to convert warm inbound inquiries into successful electric vehicle purchases. You will guide customers from initial contact to handover, offering consultative advice on vehicle options, pricing and novated leasing to ensure a smooth, positive experience.

The role requires a proactive sales mindset with a passion for EVs and clean mobility, plus the ability to build relationships, meet targets and work effectively within a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in consultative or solution-based sales, ideally within novated leasing, automotive, finance or a related environment.
• Strong track record of building rapport, closing sales and achieving targets.
• Clear and engaging communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
• Genuine interest in EVs, clean technology or future mobility.

Responsibilities

• Manage warm inbound EV enquiries from initial contact through to sale.
• Understand each customer’s needs and provide tailored advice on EVs, pricing and novated leasing.
• Build trusted customer relationships and consistently achieve sales targets.
• Coordinate a seamless handover to delivery teams to support a positive end-to-end experience.

As an EV Sales Consultant, you’ll join a growing team and turn warm inbound enquiries into successful EV purchases. From the first conversation through to handover, you’ll provide clear, consultative advice on vehicle options, pricing and novated leasing, making the process simple and delivering a positive customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage warm inbound EV enquiries from initial contact through to sale
• Understand each customer’s needs and provide tailored advice on EVs, pricing and novated leasing
• Build trusted customer relationships and consistently achieve sales targets
• Coordinate a seamless handover to delivery teams to support a positive end-to-end experience

What will you bring?
