mycar Waratah is seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our workshop. You will perform comprehensive vehicle inspections, diagnose mechanical issues, and carry out routine servicing with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

You will work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment, with ongoing training and exposure to the latest automotive technology as we transition to EV services. A proactive, collaborative attitude is essential to thrive in our team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic.
• Certificate 3 in Light Vehicle Automotive.
• Availability to work every second Saturday.
• Capable of problem solving and quality workmanship.
• Proactive safety mindset and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify issues and determine required repairs.
• Perform routine servicing (oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks) following safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised workshop.
