Job summary

mycar Tyre & Auto is seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Australia. You will conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify issues and determine repairs, and perform routine services such as oil changes and fluid checks while following safety protocols in a busy workshop.

The role requires a Certificate 3 in Light Vehicle Automotive, a commitment to quality workmanship, and a proactive safety mindset.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic.
Certificate 3 in Light Vehicle Automotive.
High standards in customer service and customer care.
Capacity to problem solve issues and find suitable solutions.
Availability to work a minimum of every second Saturday.
Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
A can-do, team oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and determine required repairs.
Conduct routine servicing including oil changes, filter replacements and fluid checks, while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised workshop.
