Job summary

Australia Post is hiring an Electric Vehicle Delivery Driver in Cockburn Central, WA. You will start your day with a delivery team and operate a modern three‑wheeled EV to deliver mail and small parcels to local homes and businesses with care and consistency.

You’ll work within a supportive team, with Rider Mentors providing hands‑on guidance to develop your skills, safety awareness and confidence for a rewarding career with Australia Post.

Qualifications

• Hold a full or probationary Australian driver’s licence and pass required assessments.
• Flexible to work additional hours when needed.
• Reliable and detail‑focused, handling mail and parcels up to 16kg.
• Meet safety requirements, including the role’s safe working load limit (120kg or less).
• Keen to learn and progress, with pathways into senior delivery or frontline leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mail and parcels on a modern three‑wheeled electric delivery vehicle.
• Work as part of a supportive team to complete daily deliveries to homes and businesses.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and follow established safety processes.
• Learn from Rider Mentors to build skills, confidence and capability over time.
• Contribute to a safe, reliable delivery service that serves local communities.
