Job summary

Australia Post in Mackay is seeking an Electric Vehicle Delivery Driver to join the Mackay Delivery Centre. You’ll operate a modern three-wheeled electric vehicle, deliver mail and small parcels to homes and businesses, and work with Rider Mentors to build confidence and capability.

You’ll hold a full or probationary Australian driver’s licence, be reliable and safety‑minded, and enjoy a supportive team, shift penalties, superannuation, and opportunities for growth within the business.

Qualifications

• Hold a full or probationary Australian driver’s licence.
• Pass required assessments.
• Flexible to work additional hours when needed.
• Reliable and detail‑focused, handling mail and parcels up to 16kg.
• Safe working practices with weight limits (120kg or less).

Responsibilities

• Deliver mail and small parcels using a modern three‑wheeled electric vehicle.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and follow established processes for reliable deliveries.
• Work with Rider Mentors to develop skills and confidence on the road.
