Vanderlande is seeking a Finance Team Lead Tax & Compliance Europe to lead the regional tax and compliance function across multiple European countries. You will drive governance, mitigate tax risks, and implement practical tax solutions in a dynamic international environment.

You will oversee day-to-day tax compliance, coordinate corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding tax, and partner with Group Tax, Finance, Legal and local stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in tax, tax compliance or related finance function in an international environment.
• Experience leading, coaching or coordinating a team.
• Strong knowledge of corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax and general tax compliance requirements.
• Experience with tax authorities, auditors and external advisors.
• Experience with process improvement and standardization initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop the Europe Tax & Compliance team.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant execution of tax compliance and reporting activities across Europe.
• Coordinate corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other tax compliance activities with Group Tax and local Finance teams.
• Support transfer pricing compliance activities and documentation requirements.
• Act as a key contact for tax authorities, auditors, external advisors, and internal stakeholders on operational tax matters.
• Identify and manage tax risks, escalating issues as needed.
• Translate changes in tax legislation into practical guidance for the business.
• Maintain and improve tax controls, documentation, and compliance processes.
• Drive standardization and process improvements across European tax and compliance activities.
