Responsibilities

• Estimating and Scoping: produce high-quality estimates and quotations for a variety of building projects.
• Compliance: ensure estimates and contracts comply with policies, minor works, local instructions, and tendering/contract methods.
• Best Practices: apply proven estimating practices to interpret plans and prepare detailed building estimates.
• Technical Knowledge: use knowledge of contemporary estimating methods and understanding of building construction and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimating and Scoping: You will be responsible for producing high-quality, accurate estimates and quotations for a variety of building projects.

• Compliance: Ensure all estimates and contracts comply with the State Purchasing Policies, Minor Works, Local instructions, and tendering/contract methods, including all client requirements.

• Best Practices: Apply proven best estimating practices to interpret plans and prepare detailed, accurate building estimates.

• Technical Knowledge: Use your working knowledge of contemporary estimating methods and a thorough understanding of building construction, maintenance legislative, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
