Job summary

The Wulguru Group is an Australian-owned steel fabrication and engineering company seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team on diverse projects across Australia.

You will prepare cost estimates and tender submissions for steel fabrication, construction, and engineering, working with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure competitive submissions and accurate cost capture.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating for steel fabrication or construction.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and tender submissions for steel fabrication and construction projects.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and scope of work documents.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure all cost components are captured.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and assess project risks.
• Assist with project planning, procurement and budget forecasting as required.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator to join our team and play a key role in the delivery of diverse and exciting projects across Australia.

About the Role

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for steel fabrication, construction, and engineering projects. You will work closely with operational teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure competitive and commercially sound submissions.
