Job summary

BMD Group is seeking a Civil Infrastructure Estimator in South East Queensland. You will collaborate with pre-contract teams to deliver civil infrastructure bids across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 3+ years estimating experience, and proficiency with estimating and planning software. Willingness to travel and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3+ years experience in civil infrastructure estimating.
• Experience using first principles estimating software and planning/scheduling tools.
• Exposure to Expert Estimation is desirable.
• Willingness to travel as required.

About The Role

Due to significant growth opportunities in the South East Queensland region, BMD Urban are in the market for a Civil Infrastructure Estimator to join our high calibre team. You will be required to collaborate with pre-contract teams and deliver exceptional civil infrastructure bids across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. With access to industry leading systems and software tools, you will contribute to a diverse range of civil infrastructure pre-contract bids within capabilities such as road construction, bulk earthworks, residential and industrial sub-divisions and complex infrastructure.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, plus a highly collaborative nature
• Civil construction industry experience with 3+ years working in estimating
• Demonstrated experience using established first principle estimating software as well as planning and scheduling software
• Exposure to Expert Estimation is desirable
• Flexibility to travel when required.
