Quantum Civil is a growing civil contractor delivering commercial and infrastructure projects across Victoria. We seek an Estimating Manager to lead the estimating team, prepare competitive tenders and drive strategic growth of the business.

The role reports to Directors and collaborates with operations to ensure successful handovers, opportunity spotting, and value engineering to win work. Experience in civil estimating and leadership is essential for this pivotal position.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead our estimating team and play a key role in securing future projects and driving the strategic growth of the business.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior Estimator ready to step into management, or an established Estimating Manager looking to join a progressive and expanding company where your contribution will directly influence the company's success.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will oversee the estimating function while preparing competitive tenders across a broad range of civil construction projects.

You will work closely with our operations team to ensure successful project handovers while identifying opportunities to improve systems, win work and strengthen client relationships.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the estimating department.
• Prepare accurate estimates and tender submissions.

About You

You'll be an experienced civil construction estimator with strong commercial acumen and leadership capability.

Ideally you'd have:

• Extensive estimating experience within the civil construction industry.
• Experience pricing earthworks, drainage, pavements, concrete, roads and utilities.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience (preferred).
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar qualification (preferred).
